Publix Supermarket

On the right is the fish, meat and dairy aisle at our local Publix Supermarket. It was a slow day - not many people shopping.

A chain we do not have here, but it reminds me of one particular grocery chain we do have.

I haven't been in a grocery store that big in years. I'm used to small stores where you are in and out within minutes. I guess it would overwhelm me to walk in that store. So many choices, don't need them to satisfy me.
I bet this would look very different on a Saturday morning. :)

No Publix where I live, but I love shopping at the one located near my parents.

So...the morning after Thanksgiving when nobody could bear to think about food and instead was at home thinking about Christmas shopping?

When we were in the States a few years ago we were amazed by the size of supermarkets. This one must be huge too, and lots to choose from :)

Best grocery store ever! You must have been there on a weekday morning.

I can't remember the last time I saw a slow day at the supermarket. Lucky you!

My parents had a house in Florida, and I fondly remember shopping in a Publix Supermarket. Lowell, I envy you.

I used to spent a couple of weeks in Florida every October and often shopped at Publix.

I’d be baffled where to go for the things I want in such a spacious supermarket. Even if it is a slow day, to capture the scene without customers seems almost impossible. You’d have been well prepared and helped by the Fortune.
