...and finally, to here!

This is the Royal Oaks Golf Course
in the Oak Run Community

A thank you to all who offered advice on how to beat the captcha mess.  Seems every once in awhile Blogger decides to "improve" something and screws it all up.  So all we need to do is pass by the captcha requirement and hit "Publish."

That feels sort of like skipping school only to find out there was no school that day!

This makes me think of the Beachboys song "Round, round, I get around..."
Pretty, pretty place!

I gave up playing golf as a teenager, but golf carts are cool. Your cart lead you to some great scenes.

What a beautiful tour you gave us, Lowell! It's worth playing golf just to see that scenery. ;-))

That was worth the trip just to see those birds!

I love this little tour of such a pretty place. Are those wild turkey's chowing down on the golf course?

Riding around in a golf cart sounds good to me as long as I can get out now and then to take photos.

This is the first time I took a ride with a golf cart, thank you, Lowell !

I stopped at the grocery store on my way to the office this morning and I saw a police car, engine running and no one inside and no policeman in sight anywhere. It made me think of you and your little story. I can see how those boys might be tempted.

Sort of your 'day in the life'... at your 'job' of leisure. 18 holes, now that's a full day!

Not a bad day of 'work'...

Nice encounters you made along the way and love the third shot with the leaves hanging on!

Boy that is a beautiful spot -- makes me think maybe I should take up golf! Or do they allow people in who just want to look at the birds ;>)

Sadly, those of us who blog on Typepad (and from what I've read, on WordPress) still have to use the captchs code or else our comments just disappear into the ether. Do hope they get it fixed soon.

What a nice ride with you, Lowell! I don’t play golf but I’d like to be there just to be refreshed.
