Look at these beauties. They seem to have so much more color than the ones at the Phoenix zoo. Maybe ours are sun faded.

Look at those wings. Gorgeous! I have quite a lot of feathers I caught at Lake Bogoria in Kenya, where flamingos are by the thousands, but not so colourful.

I'm definitely not a tropical resident: the only flamingos I've seen are the garish plastic ones. Pink. Stuck in one pose. These look much more animated, and definitely much prettier!
