Coming soon?

This sign has been the window of an empty storefront for about two years. We keep waiting, but no longer think it's "coming soon."

Another casualty of the current economy?

soon is such a relative word.

I've seen a few of these "coming soon" signs in the Phoenix area too. Recession woes I expect.

This reminds me of the huge screens on some decayed buildings' walls in Oeiras. Those who see them for the first time think restoration will start the next day... but they were placed there a couple of years ago!

"Soon" seems to have taken on new meaning in this economy, more like "we sure hoped so, once."

By the way: I LOVE your banner shot above.

I think they mixed up sooner vs. later.

I hate "soon"...I prefer to see a date or at the very least an idea of the date. Great photo, Lowell!

I guess 'soon' has come and gone. It looks like it might have been a promising place.

I am back---well sorta. MB

Lots of those around here too. I wouldn't hold my breath!
