It is a nice looking, well-maintained block, Jacob. (Seems odd seeing buildings without snow and ice!) I lilke the way different businesses have highlighted the buildings with different paint schemes. So, what is in the black building?

As to your question on HDP, I am staying mostly anonymous on the blog, so I have not shown my house. Well, over the months there might have been a couple that showed part of the yard, but I didn't mention that in the blog . . .

Looks like downtown is a happening place! At least all those buildings are well-cared for. Nice.

How lovely. I thought maybe Monte Carlo! :)

I love the contrast between the two. What, there's a Starbucks on the corner! See you!

Nice clean lines and nice paint.
Are we all meeting at Starbucks for coffee. Ok, I'll be there. MB

So neat and tidy; except for the palm tree, I wouldn't know this was Florida; looks 'old-fashioned'.

Very, very nice contrast. I like those I don't know what you call them above the windows of the black house. Marquises in French.

I just love those old downtown buildings. You caught some nice reflections of the sky in the windows!

Nice angle!

The contrast is great. The bright yellow tones against the neat black make for an interesting scene. I would be looking for a way to get up on top to see the view from above.

The building on the right reminds me of a black one I saw in Brighton, England, last October. Very cool!

I like the justaposition of the two colors.

These buildings look like some of the ones you might see here in Ontario. We don't have any palm tees though. :)

Totally digging the composition on this shot too. It would look great as an oil or acrylic painting on canvas. The blue sky is divine.

I think you live in a lovely town. These old buildings look well kept and the contrast between these two building works well.

It slipped my mind to tell you earlier, Jacob, but while in China the other week my hubby and I spent a few days with a Chinese - now Canadian - man I met in 1985 whom I call my Chinese brother. I almost fell off my chair when he told us he had spent a number of months in Ocala last year! He sure likes the place too and is going back again in a few months.
