Could this be the "missing" Santa

You may recall that the Santa hanging on the Griffin's sign has gone missing. I think we may have found him at the mall. Bored to tears. Waiting for another kid to climb on his lap and cry for mama! What a great job!

For some reason this photo will not embiggen with a click. I have no idea why it is so stubborn!

We are very busy selling our house and moving to another part of town. If the past couple days are indicative of what lies ahead, I'll probably be able to only post and comment sporadically for the next few weeks. But I will do the best I can because I hate to miss all the great photos of our CDP friends!

I"M LOL. Bored with nothing to do. The elves are up north working their tiny fingers to the bone, and Mrs. Claus is baking her brains out. And Santa.....yawn!

This is obviously not the real Santa. This guy has a fake beard! The "real" Santa can be seen over at my blog today.

Good luck with your move! Can't wait to see more photos of the golf course.

I'm sure Santa never gets bored though... he has so much work to do. :)

Great photo for early December. In a few weeks this dude will be mobbed. Good luck with that move.

Glad to see you posting again! I was afraid you had switched places with Santa but then, "North Pole daily photo" WOULD be an interesting blog, too! Could Santa take over "Ocala daily photo?!"

Aww. A lonely Santa. Maybe it's just too early in the season.
Must be very hectic to be moving at this time of the year. Wish you a smooth/uneventful move and look forward to seeing the new location.
PS - if you have a chance please stop by http://MostlyLAcounty.blogspot.com - I'm posting some photos of my visit to Jacksonville and St. Augustine.

Wow, they did a great job fixing him up! He looks so life like! ;)

He does look like he's waiting for something to happen. He should have a line a mile long.

You're a brave soul to be moving during the holiday season. Hang in there, Jacob, we'll be looking for you.

I don't envy you packing up and moving to a new place...but maybe you are more organized than I am. (I sure hope so!)

HE is cute!
I have no idea the reason he is upset, maybe he is tired! :)
It would be the end of a long day there!
and he needs some nap! :)

What a beautiful face this santa has...or perhaps it's just the way you've caught him.

Moving--I figured that was what was going on. Hey what is more important--oh right--blogging. LOL

Santa sure looks bored--I know he will blame it on the economy. Anyway--
Good luck and have fun. MB

I'm seriously thinking of finding a Santa in one of the malls here for a photo with him. As I get older, I find that I want to do stuff I never did before. ;)

I was wondering what happened to you. Good luck with the move, Jacob and Lois Anne! I hope everything goes smoothly.

Gosh, a bored Santa... That's sad.

What a contrast to the Santa Mme la Vache et Louis saw at the Macy's on Union Square in San Francisco yesterday. This poor Santa was so mobbed, he probably would have quickly traded places with your lonely Santa.

@ Ze Mad Cow - Is it possible that San Franciscans are Santa-deprived?

He does look quite bored! Good luck with the sale and move. My daughter and her family just did that this past summer and it was stressful, but worth it.

What an AWESOME santa candid. I love it.
This is a very warm scene. The expression on his face, the look and feel. I really, really like this picture.

I agree with Dan J, awesome santa candid! Love it!

Getting a little jaded, are we? LOL!

He came to life and now he is bored!

I hope your move goes smoothly! We are also moving next week. We bought a condo in the affordable housing that the town builds. Brand new, too! It's literally only about 500 steps from our apartment to the new place, but still have to pack everything up!

Lowell said...

@ Lisa - OK, this is the comment I missed. Congratulations on your new condo. I think you'll love it.

We're trying to sell our house and have bought a villa in Stone Creek, the Del Webb plus 55 development in Ocala. It's about 20 miles so the cost of moving isn't too high. But, like you say, gotta pack it all up no matter the distance!
